I am a licensed clinical psychologist serving residents of California and Maine. Due to the barriers people often face while seeking help, my hope is to make the process a little easier by offering a secure space to participate in therapy from the privacy of your own home via Telehealth. I offer evidence-based care for people who may struggle to find help due to geographic location, impact of mental health on daily functioning, etc. Working collaboratively with each person is something I strongly prioritize throughout the treatment process, while also striving to empower people to make effective, long-lasting changes in their lives. I practice CBT (includes ERP, CPT, ACT, DBT) to treat OCD and Related Disorders, Anxiety Disorders, Trauma- and Stressor-Related Disorders, Somatic Symptom Disorders, and I provide group therapy for OCD. I offer Virtual Reality for exposure-based treatment, and often incorporate mindfulness, coping skills, and DBT skills to facilitate your recovery process. I have received formal training treating patients aged 10 years and older suffering from a range of psychological disorders through the VA system, Family Justice Center, North County Lifeline, and San Clemente Psychological Services. I would be more than happy to answer any questions you may have and to hopefully have the opportunity to work with you!

I specialize in working with older adolescents, young adults through adult who are struggling with behavioral/emotional/or cognitive symptoms related to anxiety and trauma especially developmental trauma. Developmental trauma unlike an intense event, happens through our developmental growth period it is how we learned to see ourselves, sense our own innate human value and how we interacted with the world. This may show up in your life as perfectionism, difficulty doing boundaries or being assertive, difficulty with self care etc. I utilize experiential neuroscience and trauma interventions to help identify and break through barriers I am a very active therapist. I enjoy working with people to identify not only the issue but also your innate strengths and amplify those. Therapy sessions with me are interactive, there is a mixture of learning, laughing and crying as well as skill building. I have been utilizing polyvagal theory as a foundation and have people experiencing success quickly I know getting to the point you're ready to ask for help can be overwhelming and it is difficult to choose the right therapist and the right intervention. I will work with you to develop a strong working relationship to support you and your needs. Please note I am only billing Cigna and Anthem; all other insurances will be self paid with a SuperBill .

I offer low cost $35 sessions to fill a need for those with no insurance, a high co-pay, or want complete confidentiality. Therapy International has always sought to make counseling accessible to everyone and I also have a $15/25 minute Try-it-Out session. Living with depression, anxiety, fear, and stress, including difficulties with sexual identity, is a terrible way to live. I have experience and expertise in these areas and will use that experience to help you. Call, text, email, or you can make an appointment at www.TherapyInternational.com. I look forward to talking with you! I have a bachelor's degree in biology, an LPN nursing license, and personal training from an LMHC/LCPC. Finding a good counselor or therapist can be a difficult and expensive process. I offer my sessions as cost-effective as I can make them. Everyone has problems at some point in their life and money shouldn't be the factor that stops them from seeking help. Reach out and schedule an appointment. Hello, we are a clinic based at the University of Maine and serve clients throughout the entire state of Maine community. Currently, we have openings in our child anxiety therapy group and for individual child therapy. We primarily provide in-person services and are also glad to serve clients from more distant areas of Maine through telehealth. We offer research-based psychological treatments, such as cognitive behavior therapy (CBT), for a wide range of ages and difficulties, and are staffed by Clinician-Psychologist teams with specific expertise. Although we don't take insurance, our sliding fee scale means that the session fee is often less than or equal to an insurance copay Although we do talk to other providers who wish to refer their patients or clients, you can simply refer yourself by calling our main number. Our voicemail is confidential so you can feel comfortable leaving a message if we can't take your call immediately. If you have questions about services or the nature of our clinic, we welcome you to call us as well.
